Architectural metal finishing for mini-split lines and condenser equipment, developed and fabricated in the Hudson Valley.
It started with one unresolved detail.
A carefully designed house. A high-performance mechanical system. A plastic line cover that looked like it belonged somewhere else.
Rather than remove the existing line-hide and disturb the completed HVAC installation, 21B developed a metal finish that fit over it.
The first system followed long horizontal and vertical runs, wrapped corners, navigated windows, concealed its fasteners, and turned the mechanical route into a deliberate exterior detail.
Our primary focus is measured and installed work throughout the Hudson Valley and Catskills. Select projects in the Berkshires, Litchfield County, Westchester, the Capital Region, northern New Jersey, and the New York City area may be considered individually.

Local production lets us work directly with homeowners, architects, builders, and mechanical contractors while maintaining control over fit, finish, and installation.
It also means the person measuring the corner understands how the corner will actually be fabricated.

01Initial review
We evaluate the apparent profile, route, access, finish, condenser configuration, and project location.
02Site measure
Detailed dimensions and existing conditions are documented after the project is accepted.
03Design + estimate
The scope is organized by runs, corners, transitions, terminations, material, fabrication, and installation.
04Fabrication
Components are formed and finished at 21B Design in the Hudson Valley.
05Click-over installation
Metal sections fit over the existing plastic line-hide. The mechanical lines remain in place.
06Condenser coordination
Where included, the enclosure is installed around approved airflow, access, and clearance requirements.
